May I arrive on Wednesday night?

Absolutely! If you want to arrive the night before to get settled in or if you prefer a camping site you can do that any time on Wednesday after 1pm. Just let us know when you plan to arrive. You will need to provide your own meals on Wednesday if you arrive early but the kitchen is available for that too.

Can I have my own room at Meridian House?

It could happen but it is based on demand. In most cases you should plan to share a room or better yet, find someone to room with you who would enjoy the program. You also have the option of camping solo. There is room for 24 in the Meridian House and there are 7 bathrooms, common areas, a full kitchen, two laundry areas and kitchenettes for both upstairs and downstairs.

Do I need to bring any tools?

No tools are required, we can provide them. However, we welcome you to bring your own tools if you desire. Make sure they are labeled clearly so there is no confusion about ownership during the projects. Personal protective equipment is required for eyes, ears, hands, feet, and head depending on the activities.

What does the fee of $350 get me?

The fee covers - food, fuel, ammo, premium accommodations, access to tools and equipment etc. You will be able to relax in a wood-fired hot tub, shoot some pool while enjoying the football game on the big screen, or practice your quick draw at the range. We intend to make it a significant value proposition so you will want to come back and tell your friends about the event.

What qualifications do I need to attend?

This is an event for men. You need to be at least 18yrs old within the calendar year of the event.
(We host other events that are co-ed or solely for females. We also host events for younger participants.) You do not need any prior experience but you should have a motivation to learn and get involved. The staff, friends and faculty of Rockbridge Creative Institute are a community of Christian believers, so be reverent and respectful toward their traditions. You will be welcomed and accorded the same.
